Lara Wilson, 2020 Alumna, has been on an incredible journey since graduating. Throughout December of 2020, Lara was performing down at Dreamworld in their Bluey Live Suits Show, playing Bingo. Following the success in her role, Lara was then offered a place in Bluey’s Big Play, the National Tour. 

While having accepted an offer of a Bachelor of Business and Creative Industries from QUT, she took a leap of faith, deferred her course, and chose to follow her heart. The next 11 months saw her travel across Australia, performing at world renowned venues such as the Sydney Opera House.

Eager to expand on her skills, and follow her Musical Theatre dreams, Lara enrolled in the QLD College of Dance and undertook a Diploma of Musical Theatre throughout 2022. Shortly after her graduation from this course, she was offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to join the Bluey USA tour. 

For two incredible months, Lara travelled across the USA, performing for people of all ages. A highlight for her was performing at the Dolby Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard (this is where the Oscars are held!) Throughout her time performing in Australia and the USA, Lara was never alone as she had fellow Alumna, Jess Golle (2013 Graduate) by her side who was playing Bluey.

Upon returning from the USA, Lara was accepted into a Bachelor of Musical Theatre at the Elder Conservatorium of Music through the University of Adelaide. Lara will continue to perform in Bluey, as Bingo, during her holiday periods of University until August 2024.
